Charlotte and Will’s Hampton Court House wedding photography.
“These are absolutely incredible! You’ve captured the day to a tee. Thank you so much for all your hard work and for producing these beautiful pictures. Superlatives can’t do your work justice.”
I first met Charlotte and Will back in 2017 when I photographed the wedding of their good friends, Megan and (also) Will. Megan and Will in turn found me via their friends, Kate and Nick, whose wedding I photographed in 2014. I love photographing weddings where I’ve been recommended by previous couples. Not only is it wonderful to catch up with them and find out where life has taken them since the wedding day, it’s also a huge compliment since the couple clearly loved their pictures enough to pass my name on. It also helps that the new couple have already seen me in action on the day and so are totally on board with my documentary wedding photography and approach to the day.
Charlotte and Will’s Hampton Court House wedding started with bridal preparations at Charlotte’s parents’ home in Wimbledon, London – a very calm, quiet and relaxed morning with zero stress. The ceremony then took place at The Church of the Sacred Heart before moving on to Hampton Court House for the reception, dinner and party. And what a party it was! Too much for some people perhaps – see the final picture 🙂
Below are a selection of some of my favourite moments and favourite pictures from Charlotte and Will’s Hampton Court House wedding. As with all my wedding photography, aside from a few sneaky portraits, the whole day was captured “as it happened” with no influence or control from me. This produces far more emotive pictures that bring back real memories from the day and allows couples to really enjoy every minute of the day with their family and friends. If you’re planning a wedding at Hampton Court House and are searching for the perfect photographer, I’d love to hear from you.
For the photographers who follow this blog, all the pictures were taken using the Fuji X-Pro2 and X-T2 cameras.
As always, I’d really love to hear your thoughts, feedback, love, etc in the comments box below and please do share this post on your favourite social media sites.
