As well as my documentary wedding photography, I also photograph the odd event from time to time. I photograph these events in exactly the same way as I photograph a wedding, observing and documenting the evening as it naturally unfolds.

A few weeks ago I was at The Hurlingham Club in Putney to photograph the 20th anniversary party of Proximity London, an advertising agency based in Marylebone. The evening saw employees old and new come together to celebrate the incredible progress the agency has made over the last twenty years, from a startup company of just five to now being number two in the Campaign new business rankings.

“Thanks so much for documenting our 20th anniversary. The group photo in particular has been admired by all and shall be displayed in our atrium as a tribute to both your efforts on the night and to all those who have passed through our doors over the last 20 years. I am sure we will be in touch in the future to ask for your services once more”
